Overall, these shorts are good, especially for the price. They stretch well, move well, and seem tough enough for my needs. However, the pocket openings are undersized for a big-sized short, making it difficult for larger hands to fit in without much effort. Additionally, sizing up may not be necessary as the drawstring may become less sturdy at max tightness.

I purchased these shorts for my husband who is 6’1″ and 175lbs. He has very thin legs and the fit was good, but the material felt cheaper than anticipated. It was akin to a stiff swimsuit material, not great for moisture absorption during workouts. Despite this, my husband found them comfortable, though the fabric lacks stretchiness. The shorts are lightweight with an adjustable waistband, a nice feature. Overall, they are of mid-level quality.

The shorts fit well and are lightweight, but the small zipper pocket in the back is too tiny to hold anything comfortably. It feels weird to put keys in there because the pocket is awkwardly placed at the top of the shorts. I would prefer if they had added zippers to the side pockets to prevent items from falling out while running.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and feel of these shorts right out of the bag. The two side pockets and rear pocket are handy, although a bit small. These shorts are great for casual weekend wear with kids around water or dirt. The sizing is accurate and the drawstring with metal ends is amazing.
